Success in Somerset County

Jonathan has worked with the Skowhegan Opportunity Center for over a year. During that time, he completed Career Development classes and spent time onsite job searching because he did not have a computer or internet at home. He told staff that he wanted a well- paying job with hours that would allow him time with his four children. Jonathan also spent many hours volunteering at the ReStore in Waterville and going on interviews. This month Jonathan began working at a waste management company with a starting wage of $27.00 an hour and a schedule that allows him ample time with his children.
