Everyone is welcome. We believe in diversity, inclusion and equity for all. We appreciate and celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of the individuals and families we serve. We believe everyone, regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status deserves equal access to opportunities and services and their safety and privacy should be protected.
We provide resources and supports to New Mainers as they may navigate a new language, a new culture and possibly a new climate as they start their lives in Maine. Languages spoken in our Opportunity Centers include Arabic, Farsi, French, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Lingala, Portuguese, Somali, Spanish, Swahili. We also have translation services available. We also work with people with disabilities and medical conditions who require more tailored services and accommodations on their path to greater self-sufficiency which involves working closely with our partners in healthcare to ensure access to needed supports.
