Free Thanksgiving Food Boxes will be provided by the Emmaus Homeless Shelter. To order a food box for Thanksgiving, the deadline to call the shelter is Nov. 18. Food pick-up will be November 19 and Nov. 20 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The boxes will be prepared ahead of time for safety reasons.

Wayside Food Programs will be partnering with the United Way of Greater Portland, Dimillo’s Restaurant and Black Tie Catering to host it’s annual Thanksgiving Day meal at the Portland Club. The meal is free and open to the public and will feature a traditional Thanksgiving made-from-scratch menu. Generous support for the meal is provided by Black Tie Catering, United Way of Greater Portland, DiMillo’s, Hannaford Supermarkets, Whole Foods Market, and Garbage to Garden.
Thanks to a huge show of community support, all volunteer needs for Thanksgiving have been met.
